Dear Families and Friends:
As always, we hope you are all healthy and safe. However, I do want to make you aware that one of our staff has tested positive for covid-19. The person has been taken off the schedule and is quarantining at home. The good news is that as of right now all residents and all other staff are negative for the virus. Weekly testing continues for all residents and staff and we will keep you updated on any changes.
Unfortunately, since we now have had a covid positive in the building, for the next two weeks we will have to suspend the indoor visitation visits which started recently. However, patio visits and virtual visits will continue as before. Also, on hold temporarily are the use of our Dining Rooms for resident meals and Recreation activities.
Please rest assured that we will continue to take a very active approach to fighting covid-19. We are well-stocked with Personal Protective Equipment we routinely use such as gloves, gowns, masks, and shields. We also continue to screen all staff and visitors to the building and, as mentioned earlier, we are testing all residents and staff on a weekly basis.
